Treatment sheet

Image
This is my treatment sheet for my TV program. TV program: Lights, Position, Action Duration: 2-3 minutes Target audience: The set target audience which has been set for us is 18- 35 millennials, how I have specifically designed my show to suit 18-25 millennial girls and people interested in musicals. My show acts like a spin off glee show mixed with live musicals which ITV produce every few years, for example Hairspray Live 2016. In s ocioeconomic group which the viewers would belong range from B to C2, due to them being able to afford going to the theater and having time after work to watch a show based around it.  The viewers, being millennials would have grown up with technology, therefor not being surprised that we are able to film in the theater (on location) instead of on a set. Viewers of the show would be mostly be female or those who have an interest for theater. they would be in the post-feminist era, therefore would appreciate the majority of my cast b...

Target Audience

Image
As part of our brief we were told the target audience for our shows were 18-35 millennials.  Millennials are likely the most studied and talked about generation to date.  The definition of a millennial is " a person reaching young adulthood in the early 21st century". There are no precise dates for when the age of this group starts or ends; but it's typically the early 1980s as starting birth years and the mid-1990s to early 2000s as ending birth years. In most parts of the world, their upbringing was marked by an increase in a liberal approach to politics and economics.  Millennials are the largest generation in Western history. As of 2012, it is estimated that there are approximately  80 million U.S. Millennials   and   14.6 million Millennials in the UK Characteristics of a millennial: They are the first generation in history that have grown up totally immersed in a world of digital technology, which has shaped their identities and creat...
