The beginning of filming

On 3rd October, I arranged to begin my filming starting with a large scene including a big crowd scene. However due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to film that certain scene so I had to change which scene I was filming which through off my plans for that day. However,I was able to get some filming done, but it wasn't the scenes I wanted film additionally I was only able to film a much smaller amount of my show. I have also been able to do some small shots of scenes which include quick editing that don't require the camera for a long time period shots.

I will hopefully be filming more in the coming week and get most of the scene filmed before the end of half term so I can focus on editing when I come back. For the mean time I will be working on my magazine and figuring out what I will include to sell some of the themes within my show.

    Can you add some of your early footage? Have you learnt anything about planning your filming? Always have a plan B!

Welcome back, since doing my research into the two TV channels I have been informed that I am not just restricted to ITV1 but I can pick any of their commercial portfolio. Welcome! Hi, my name is Becca and this is my introduction to my media studies coursework. I am currently 17 years old, studying my A levels at Hills Road sixth form college. These consist of Media studies, History and Drama, in hopes that they will help me go on to study Film studies at University. As part of our brief we were told the target audience for our shows were 18-35 millennials.  Millennials are likely the most studied and talked about generation to date.  The definition of a millennial is " a person reaching young adulthood in the early 21st century". There are no precise dates for when the age of this group starts or ends; but it's typically the early 1980s as starting birth years and the mid-1990s to early 2000s as ending birth years.
